The Information Technology department is a self-driven proactive nerve center, which caters to the ever-growing technology in the sphere of academics, research and training. There are more than 90 states of the art internationally branded P-IV personal computers equipped with latest application softwares.

The department of IT in KGEC was developed with a view to promote the use of IT and act as a promoter/ facilitator in the field of IT in the state and build an interface with the rest of the country and world. With a view to introduce flexibility, dynamism and to incorporate IT tools for imparting technical education. The department strives for participating in global production of IT tools, softwares through software ppt contest, projects at all levels, seminars etc. The department also provides students with the state of art infrastructure through topics for elective papers like DBMS, Neural network, Multimedia system, Artificial intelligence etc.
